"Adventures in Art," is a high-quality, safe, fun, stimulating and self-esteem-building summer art program for children ages 6 through 13.
"Adventures in Art" is happening this Summer 2011! And YES - there is still space available in the one-week session, starting July 11.
The week's theme is "Infinity and Beyond" - space travel, the Universe, dreaming about and visualising what lies beyond our solar system and beyond our wildest imaginings!
You may register online, or snail-mail your registration.
Come to Veasey Memorial Park in Groveland for our all day program of summer art adventures! For the last 15 years children have been creating wonderful projects in ceramics, puppetmaking, painting, drawing, sculpture, papermaking, and much more with incredible art, theater, and music celebration.
This year will be our best ever outdoors and indoors with ceramics, painting, drawing, sculpture, paper-making, weaving, theatrical arts and music, and much, much more. Our wonderful professional staff include program director Susan Blim, musical theater teacher Gayle Bridgford, and other talented creative artists. All our instructors are talented artists with a bachelors degree or higher in art and education.
The program runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program will provide 2 snacks each day, and a lunch must accompany the child. Children should wear comfortable, sturdy play clothes that can get messy with art projects as well as outdoor activity. The program will run regardless of weather.
Fee is $185 per child per one-week session.
Please mail in the registration payment (personal check or money order) with your complete contact information, your child's name, age, and the grade they will begin in the Fall 2011, as well as their school. You will receive by email a confirmation of registration, along with the medical and permission form for the program. An official registration form is not necessary as long as complete information is provided along with payment.
I will be checking voice mail at 978-374-1656 and returning calls within 24 hours, but feel free to call me at my cell phone at 617-513-6789 with urgent questions (after 3 p.m. is best time). We will have all the confirmations in the mail within 1 week of receiving your registration. If you do not receive confirmation by then, please call or email. If you have not received confirmation of a registration submitted or mailed more than one week ago, please call Catherine Waldron at home in the evening 978-374-1656.
Although you may register online up to the day before the start of the program (if space is available), we will appreciate early registrations to assist in planning. All payments must be made at the time of registration. For snail mail registration, please issue check or money order to: Pentucket Arts Center. Mail the check or money order along with a completed registration form.
The registration forms have been distributed through the local schools and are available at various community locations such as the public library.
If you do not have a paper form, that's not a problem at all!
In that case, we only need for you to enclose a note with your payment check or money order.
The note should contain at least the following information:
The program will accept a maximum of 35 campers. When the program is full, we will update this website and no longer accept registrations. We are only offering a single one-week session this year due to our teachers' personal schedules. We hope next year to be able to return to a two or three session schedule.
